Module 1: Why the Letter Matters 

Get clear on the role of the show cause letter and why weak drafting creates risk.

· Why this letter matters 

· The real purpose behind it 

· Common mistakes by HR and managers 

· What every proper show cause letter must contain 

Activity: Review weak samples and spot what is missing. 

 

Module 2: Write with Clarity and Precision 

Learn how to draft allegations that are clear, structured, and fair. 

Covers: 

· How to state the allegation properly 

· Why date, time, place, and conduct matter 

· Facts vs assumptions 

· Firm but fair language 

· Words and phrases to avoid 

· How to structure the letter clearly 

Activity: Rewrite weak allegations into stronger wording. 

 

Module 3: Draft, Review and Improve 

Put learning into practice through guided drafting and review. 

Case practice may include: 

· Misconduct 

· Absenteeism and lateness 

· Insubordination 

· Breach of company rules or policies
